Blog / Peter Watkins

Peter Watkins’s work doesn’t need any introduction, and to be honest you have probably seen this work already, I just wanted the chance to play with an edit and admire such an incredible series. If you have a spare five minutes today, take a look at his website and indulge in a variety of projects that will undoubtedly survie the test of time. Hopefully you will have a show some time Peter, would love to see these in print. Enjoy.

Blog / Adam Schreiber

Things are getting suitably scientific here at WB this week. Having stumbled across, got lost, stuck and a little space sick by what we have concluded is the greatest website of all time here. Science appears to be rearing it’s wonderful head in every corner of the internet we look, introducing the work of  Adam Schreiber. All i know of Adam is that he is part of the exciting collective Lakes Were Rivers based in Austin, Texas. Finding myself instantly drawn to Schreiber’s work upon first glance, immidiate visual impact, mystery, curiosity and balanced consistency… what more could you want from these images?

Blog / Guus Kaandorp

A few weeks back we posted work by the wonderfully talented Lonneke van der Palen. Today we take a look at fellow Dutch master and partner in crime; Guus Kaandorp. Teaming up together for a FOAM commission, Lonneke & Guus had the enviable task of visually representing ‘10 years of FOAM,’ producing a series of vivid still life images depicting what we can only presume are a variety of unique gifts donated to the institution. Kaandorp’s website offers a refreshing and engaging display of photography, reflecting his tactile and vivid approaches to a subject, enabling the view to avoid simply being fed images.

The randomness and curation of images on this site are complex, but once you get pass that initial complexion and frustration of not being able to find images that easily, Kevin Tadges’ website provides you with a bounty of inspirational work to click through. Experimenting with a range of diptychs I picked out some of my favourites for you all to have a look at…
