With this year’s Class Of 2012 ticking along nicely (with plenty more still to come), we thought a re cap of the graduates featured thus far was in order. It has been an incredible process to see so many exciting talents from all over the world, checking the WB inbox daily provides new surprises every time. So far the Class of 2012 has taken us far and wide receiving work from France, Canada, USA, Holland and the UK. But by no means is this all over, please keep your submissions coming in.
Kicking off this year was the work of Maxime Guyon studying at Ecole de Condé in Lyon…
Our Canadian entry came from Jamie Campbell, studying at the Concordia University Montreal. His series ‘Looking Askance‘ examines the skepticism based around photography as a medium of objective representation.
Clara Prioux has just finished up her MFA from the ESAD of Strasbourg, France, “My interest for the United States is genuine, and has been elaborated by the travels I’ve made there since I was a child as much as by the presence of the (idealized) American culture outside of its own frontiers”.
We love Newport and were thrilled when Jack Latham sent us in his series ‘A Pink Flamingo‘.
Our most recent feature was Kishan Pancha,l a recent graduate from Barking and Dagenham College with his incredibly beautiful series ‘In memory of Moti Baa‘.
